Dear Readers
It is with great enthusiasm that we present the June 2024 issue of the International Journal of Management Issues and Research (IJMIR). This issue brings together a diverse set of scholarly contributions addressing critical challenges in management, digital transformation, sustainability, ethics, and economic inclusivity. A key focus is on sustainability and economic development, with studies examining industry constraints, policy-driven solutions, and progress toward sustainable development goals. Further, digitalization plays a key role in promoting ESG initiatives, which further intensifies the connection between technology and sustainability. Another important theme in the analysis is the impact of technology on management and human performance. The study depicted resistance to change in the workplace by digitalization and analysed the changing methods for research and professional engagement over time. Discussions on digitalisation and governance cover ethical, managerial, and regulatory concerns in emerging technologies, emphasizing the need for robust frameworks and ethical considerations. From a financial and economic perspective, this issue presents insights into financial inclusion, investment preferences, and public health economics, emphasizing policies for economic equity and accessibility. Consumer behaviour and trust are also analysed, with studies exploring preferences for sustainable products, customer relationship strategies, and ethical work practices across generations. Institutional reforms and public trust are examined through research on governance, institutional credibility, and ethical leadership in public service organizations. We wish to thank all authors, reviewers, and our editorial board for their service towards excellence in scholarship. We hope that this issue serves as a dialogue catalyst for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to continue the conversations inspired by the research.
We are optimistic that this issue will spark meaningful discussions, inspire further research, and encourage collaborative efforts to address the challenges of the modern business world. We look forward to your engagement and invite you to contribute to our future editions.
